HAPPENINGS
Spring has turned out to be a particularly hot, dry and unpleasant season, with no sign of rain and consternation from all the farmers at a possible drought to come if the weather does not change.
Princess Selene invited commoner and noble boys to come and play Firans and Shamis on her land.
Priest Zutimer, after taking his time and touring part of the Hydran lands on his way over, arrived in Anarinuell from Zutran as the representative sent to see what all the hub-bub in the Anairnuell True Temple.
Lord High Priest Donos Ista Aldrik hosted a seminar upon the correct usage of titles and other forms of respect.
Lady Endeera Shadina hosted a gathering for those who wished to partake in genteel and intelligent conversation.
Canals in the Old City dipped lower and lower with the spring heat.
Commander Tagda hosted a seminar on child care.
Lord Yaffros Iberik hosted an Impromtu Dance Contest
Clan Leader Torianos and Clan Leader Ojitar had a griffon race at the ampitheatre. Lady Tia Firgalik heavily promoted her husband, including having supporter's bracelets created. In a close race, Clan Leader Ojitar won. Following this, lady Tia announced that the Firgaliks would pay the bar tabs of any commoners who were drinking to her husband's victory.
Commander Corso of the Iron Regiment claimed the Glassworks Tavern until such time as the rest of the Republic Military can prove their worth to reclaim it.
Commander Tagda announced that Prince Savaren's unit would be accepting new recruits, with signing bonuses.
Lord Donos Ista Aldrik announced the birth of a baby daughter, Aldra, to he and his wife, Lady Pia.
Princess Selene, Priestess of Elik and Lord High Prist Donos performed a public combined blessing of Spring and Rain Blessing. Lord Donos went on to urge all landowners to give permission to the Zinian order to perform the rain blessing upon their land as the lack of rain showed that Zin was unhappy in some way.
Mes Ziya, The Tempest, fought Mes Rezzana the Golden in a gladiator match. The Tempest was the eventual winner.
The Festival of Renewal saw the following winners: Horse Racing: Lord Empyrean. Swimming race: Mes Harvinia. Archery Contest: Commander Tagda. Wrestling: Mer Zetes. Battle Royale: Prince Rislan. The festival was organised by Lord Marsalos Iberik.
JUDGMENTS
Clan Leader Ania Istaneysani ruled that Lord Talion Iberik sullied the title of nobility and sentenced him to community service. During his time of community service, Talion was forbidden from wearing any clothing but that of wool or cotton. Furthermore, any of the Iberik family who assisted him in his community service were to adhere to the same clothing standards.
Lord Donos Ista Aldrik found Mes Ziya guilty of trespassing into the palace gardens whilst being drunk and disorderly. She was fined and sentenced to work in the gardens for a period of time.
Clan Leader Ania Istaneysani ruled that Talion Iberik had been rude to both herself and her stepfather, Lord Donos Ista Aldrik. As punishment his hours of community service was increased and the Eagle clan was forbidden from calling him Lord until the community service was completed.
Former Priest Myron Jaffus and Mes Della Nesharen were found guilty by the clan council of conspiring to murder Lord Judanus Corinala. They were both sentenced to be executed by Lord Judanus.
Lady Proxy Taleena Corinala ruled that Mer Abayos Mink would henceforth be known as Mer Abayos Leafchaser.
Lord Docci Ista Aldrik found Samar the halfie guilty of breaking and entering into the Iberik mansion. He was sentenced to be fined, stocked and flogged.
