Overview

There are over 150 characters active on Firan, and often over 100 people logged in at any one time. Here are a few of the most notable citizens; these people can safely be assumed to be known of by most all of the characters on the game. They're very famous.

Rulers

Clan Council

Members of the Clan Council. These powerful figures are all the equivalents of kings and queens of small states. They each hold Medallions and are usually easily spotted in a crowd by the large number of guards that usually accompany them.

Powerful Proxies

In addition to the actual medallion holders, there are some assistants to Clan Leaders, also known as proxies, who can wield almost as much power as Clan Leaders, and are sometimes just as famous.

Former Famous Political Figures

Some Clan Leaders may no longer be in power, but they still wield considerable influence in the Republic.

New Republic Government

In the wake of The Kinslayer War, the governance of the New Republic underwent great upheaval, eventually resulting in a new Constitution, which led to the creation of a Senate, the replacement of the position of Viceroy with a much less powerful position known as Consul, and a number of other changes.

Consul

Razesh Didoron -- Cockatrice Clan Proxy and current Consul.

Chief Justice

Sirio Firgalik -- Chief Justice of the New Republic.

Chief Diplomat

Teonia Elikista -- Chief Diplomat of the New Republic; also wife to Torianos.

Senate

Along with the Clan Council, the Senate forms the legislative branch of the New Republic. While not all of them are incredibly famous, they're gaining importance as the new government develops.

All of the Clans except the Eagle Clan, which has become a democracy, have Royal families.

While High Priestess Fidelia holds the Staff of the High Priestess and is the chief religious authority in the Firan Realms, the following are important personages in the various clergies that serve the gods.

Other Famous Folks

The Firans don't have many actual celebrities, but they do have gladiators, who are supported by the people and cheered on at the gladiatorial games which are often run in the Amphitheatre.

Former Royalty

The former Republic royal family, the Elianik Family, all descended from Elianos and Sabine. Deposed and mostly moved or adopted by other families in the wake of The Kinslayer War.
