Overview
A little girl with an impish grin, Willow has blue eyes, mid-back
length smooth golden hair and fair skin. Willow appears to weigh about
75 pounds and stands about 4'10" tall. Long golden eyelashes frame
eyes that are as blue as the summer sky. Tresses the color of molten
gold seem to shimmer when kissed by the light. She has a heartshaped
face with a touch of rosyness in her cheeks and appears to have
naturally pink bow shaped lips. Rarely does Willow meet a stranger or
stay on a topic as she seems to flounce from one thing to another. She
has a bad habit of squinting to try to see something so she typically
ignores things that are difficult for her to see. Although thinner and
much taller than her peers, she has started to become rather
meticulous in her appearance. Frequently giggling, she has a melodic
voice and an impish grin which has a tendancy to suggest she's up to
some harmless prank. Her hair has been gathered into a fine
herringbone braid.
Early History
The first four years of Willow's young life were happy. There was her Da and her Ma. She was the apple of their eye and their hope for the future. Then life was shattered when the call went out for all Griffon citizens to help try to push the Dringle meanace out of Scirlut. Da was killed, or as Ma put it, murdered by the cowardly Dringles. She instilled a hatred into her young daughter for anything Dringle. Willow has mentioned a stepfather at one point and has told that her Ma died not long after her baby brother was born. The little girl lit a fire to warm the cold body of her mother, only for the house to burn down around her. It's unknown what happened to the brother or stepfather. Following the fire, Willow stowed away on a wagon leaving Caldera. She was dumped by the merchant in the center of the forum after reaching the new city: Anarinuell.
Recent History
After arriving in Anarinuell, Willow was taken to Kamnestra's Orphanage. She made several friends. She had planned on being a musician like her mother only for the story of the attempt on Her Honor Luna's life to reach her ears. When Dame Mother Cyrilla suggested a lady's maid would be a good job, Willow took it to heart. She now tries to be as proper as possible while learning how to be a bodyguard as well. Besides, wouldn't it be better for a noblewoman, especially a clan leader, to have female bodyguards who can do hair and other lady's maid things? Male bodyguards wouldn't be allowed in the bath.
Personality & Beliefs
Willow is chatty, bouncy and a fun loving girl with a touch of mischievousness. She can also be rather serious at times. She doesn't see the two as being opposites. She's just serious about being herself and has goals and ambitions. She's become obsessed with being proper and clean and makes sure her hair is fixed perfectly with her hairpins in place. She generally cares about people.
There is little doubt that Willow is going to follow Elik as an adult. She has been seen in his temple, often leaving with a giggle as she has told him of some joke or prank. She's been known to offer him tarts and other sweets although she's the one with the sweettooth. When she offered him the apricheristrawblueraspberry tarts, she had to inform Lord Elik that they were berry good.
Ranks & Offices
Willow is a child aide in the Griffon militia under Lady Proxy Centerion Imoen Sennet. She has since became a Republic Guard Child Aide and serves under Senior Aide Firana who answers directly to Lady General Taleena.
Family Life
Her first family was a very happy one. It is obvious that Willow loved both her Ma and her Da greatly. She mourns both of them. She does not mourn the brother or stepfather. In fact, she has stated brothers are icky.
She's still getting used to her new family. She's trying to make everything happy. Neither Trysta or Dar are old enough to be her birth parents but they still guide (tell her what to do) like any other parents. Willow doesn't mind.
Siblings
Unnamed half newborn half brother. It is unknown on what became of him. It's suspected he died in the fire in Caldera City.
Agapi, Dysa, Oriefa are her three adoptive sisters. They are just babies and Willow enjoys taking them to the baths and babysitting. To her, they are just like dolls that cry a lot.
Willow has a new baby brother named Suiran. Although she still maintains she dislikes all boys, the baby's constant happy nature has caused her to offer him such as her toys and tarts.
Marriage
Now, at 11. Boys are still mostly icky. Some are ok. And there is that mer with those dreamy eyes.
Children

Accomplishments & Successes
At the spring festival of 43 A.U. Willow heard someone shouting for help. She didn't know where but shouted back asking where. The voice said the river. Being a curious child, Willow went to investigate. Sure enough, someone was in the river...Lady Ildria Iberik. Willow dove out and swam to get the noblewoman who was drowning and pulled her to saftey. This has been a high point in the future Lady's Maid's career so far although Willow will insist she would have saved anyone who needed saving. But she will amend that it's more special cause it was a noblewoman and lady's maids are supposed to help noble ladies. Besides, that darn Dringle priest who was there didn't do a thing to help rescue anyone.
Scandals & Failures
THOSE questions! It all started innocently enough when Willow and Kai heard a herald walking around the palace district asking for money to provide for Sentry Tyrin to be able to go to the Dove as he went to the front a virgin. Now, being 10, Willow never heard of virgins and didn't know what it meant. So for a while, she and Kai both went around trying to find out what this 'virgin' stuff was. First they were told that whiskey cured it. So, if it is curable, it has to be a disease and everyone knows diseases are bad things. Willow went as far as asking Captain Wylma about finding a cure for it. Wylma told her it was someone who hadn't did the ritual of Eesha. That confused Willow even more for a while. She finally decided that rituals were for making things, and Eesha was the goddess of love so all it meant was he didn't have a girlfriend. She then felt sorry for the poor sentry who must be hideous that they were having to buy him a girlfriend. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how one looks at things, Lord Brother Judanarius demanded Willow to stop asking about this subject until after her ceremony of souls.
And of course, there is the fact she went to the market and told the merchants not to sell any baby seeds for boys to Trysta. She didn't want no brothers. After all, it would only make sense that babies come from seeds that their Mom's eat, cause they grow in the Mom's tummy. And the only way they get out is if the Mom's throw them up. Granny Bringana has explaind that Mom's don't throw up babies but get a baby door after they are married. This seems to work for now but she's started waiting to see if she can find out if the baby's knock on the doors if they wanna be born.
Enemies
Dringles! Well, specifically the one who killed her Da. She is /trying/ to realize the entire clan is not responsible. Especially not the girls as they aren't allowed weapons. Poor Dringle girls! How sad they can't have weapons!
The worstest of all the Dringles is Tarquin. Tarquin is a floofy Dringle boy who tried to claim the Griffon district while the adults were away in Ellish. Willow challenged the boy to a duel for this action and she nearly killed him. She has had to promise not only Dalinuel but now Her Honor Luna not to kill him, just because he's a dumb Dringle.
Allies
Her bestest friend is Astrea, one of the other orphans in the orphanage. Although she's a bear, she's Willow's 'sister'.
Kai is also a good friend, even if he is a boy and even if he can be annoying sometimes.
Granny Bringana is Willow's adoptive grandma. Not technically grandma, but grandma in spirit who isn't in spirit and better not be for a very long time. The elderly lady is very nice and Willow loves talking to her.
Aziza is one of Willow's bestest friends too. A fellow Griffon, the two both love to ask questions. Aziza just had her CoS so Willow is gonna ask her questions too.
Stavros is a friend, even if he's a boy. He's from a good Chimeran family and tends to be in trouble...A LOT. But that's cause he's a boy.
Miscellany
Habits
A giggly chatterbox that can't stay still and is always bouncing around happily. She tries to have a joke to tell and always wants to brighten up someone's day.
Likes
Willow LOVES to play with hair. That's gotta be the best part of being a lady's maid.
She loves flowers and pranks. Sounds like an Elikian in the making.
Dislikes
WHISKEY! The most foul substance in all of Aerval!
Pirates. They were forced to be pirates for the spring festival but Willow didn't like it one bit. Besides, pirates nearly stole Kai. Bad, bad pirates!
Odiferous things. Willow's eyesight isn't good so she relies on her other senses. Thus she tends to hate things that stink, like boys, people who don't bath and perfumes that are too 'busy'. In Willow's mind, if you are 'in a storm' of scents, it's too much.
The Old City. The first thing Willow was told when she arrived was to stay away from the Old City as that is where the muderers, the slavers and all that is evil reside. Any child found there is immediately kidnapped and sold to the Shami. A guard told her this so it has to be true.
