WINIA AURIK

Winia Aurik, daughter of the great hero Throg, and wife of once-High General Firuell Aurik, was exiled in the conspiracy charges of 39 A.U. She was known as a happy-go-lucky woman with a wonderful zest for life, and a miner by trade, she was a little outside the social norm in her birth clan, the Gold Dragons. Still, she had a decent amount of wriggle room within the clan given her father's status. Winia was a woman well known to prattle off advice about this and that -- meddling in every affair she could.

Winia was married to Firuell Aurik, also of the Gold Dragon clan, and became a member of his family. She seemed a dutiful wife, happy to be at the side of a prominent member of the clan, but trouble began to brew in 36 A.U., when Firuell left Anarinuell to join the Blood Dragons over the matter of Scirlut. Mes Winia followed him to Scirlut. After the Blood Dragons failed to take over as a clan, Winia and Firuell left the Gold Dragon clan and were embraced by the Chimerans. They swore an oath of loyalty to the throne, but that did not stop the conspiracy or the traitorous actions of the pair of Chimeran Auriks.

There was much legal to-do when Winia became Chimeran; the Gold Dragon branch of the family claimed children and shops and such as their own while Winia's husband fought to keep what he considered theirs. In 39 A.U., it became moot. Firuell was implicated in a plot against the Republic, the Antonian Apostasy. Taleo declared that Firuell would perish for his crimes. Winia, daughter of Throg, was shown "mercy" and exiled from Firan lands, never to return.
