LORD WIRK ISTA BARUN

Lord Wirk Ista Barun was born and raised in Anarinuell, the son of Lord Zeemus of the Gold Dragon Clan. Wirk's family was at one time a rival for the throne of the Mighty Gold Dragons, but due to the actions of his father the family was discredited and exiled from the clan. Wirk and his family joined with Elianos and became members of the Chimeras, and Wirk fought beside then Clan Leader Elianos in many a battle, losing a leg during his service in the military. Because of Wirk's heroism in battle and his long family history, the Ista Barun's became the first noble family entered into the ranks of the Chimera Clan.

When Anariuell was established as the center of the Republic, Wirk and his family were happy to return. In early February of 21 A.U., Wirk entered the Veteran's Hall to assist the healers with the Mind Plague that was affecting his son Lord Adrastus, and his possible future son-in-law Lord Simon Didoron, even though he was not originally infected himself - a true showing of the man's character. Eventually he was stricken with the painful headaches indicative of the plague, and he passed away on February 16th, 21 A.U. His funeral was one of the biggest that had been seen in Anarinuell in quite some time, with everyone from Princes to Old City people speaking on behalf of the fallen war hero.
