Wolfpack

Shortly after the marriage of Alexa and Harik Wolfhawke, they had a large house built and invited Harik's brother Ulrik and his wife Rijeka to live with them, so they could help each other with the raising of their children. At first, there were no more than eight children between the families, but they stuck together when going out to play like a bunch of wolf cubs. The family jokingly called them the Wolfpack. As the Wolfpack gained notoriety beyond the clan district's walls, many wondered if the Wolfhawke house was really an orphanage.

Over the years, more children were born to the Wolfhawkes and Whitefeathers. When Rijeka's brother Murat was captured by Shamibelians in the Air Raid of 26 A.U., his children were brought into the house to raise. When he was rescued, he moved in with his wife as well.

Hard times had fallen on the family of Alexa's brother, and their ten children were put under Alexa's care, swelling the number of children in the house to its peak number of nearly thirty children and an injunction by Taria Oshta that Alexa could not adopt anymore children.
