LORD XEGOLUS TERANZIK

Lord High General Xegolus Teranzik was a member of the Bear clan, and son-in-law to the former Viceroy, Lord Taleo Teranzik. Xegolus rose through the ranks of the First Division in his career as a guard, though he took some time off to focus on building and strengthening the Bear clan military. Highlights of that career include becoming the Bear Clan General, and taking Nelabam for the Bears during the Cockatrice Civil War of 27 A.U. Under Taleo's reign as Viceroy, Xegolus returned to the First Division, and was appointed High General and Minister of Protection and Enforcement for the Republic and remained in this position until his death on the battlefields of Ellish in the year 31 A.U. Tales abound of Xegolus' encounter with the mythical Chimera in the Forum of Anarinuell earlier that same year, where he was killed by the enraged head of the lion, only to be saved and brought back to life by the magical tears of the head of the goat. His brother in law, Leonus Teranzik, was killed in that very same attack as he defended the fallen High General.

Xegolus was known as an exceptional leader, a strong man, and was much admired by the general populace of the Republic for being fair and decisive. In 25 A.U., Xegolus Actis (as he was then known), gained nobility along with the rest of his family, united under the name Shadina. He was a member of that family, prior to his marriage to Lady Trianna Teranzik, by his marriage to Yanna Actis(d). He leaves behind his children, Zanna, Urminius and Xamori by his marriage to Yanna, as well as his wife, Lady Trianna, and her children by her marriage to Caracallo Firini: Rianna, Carina, Sinan, Belome, Cassi, and Tricha. He also leaves behind a son born to his union with Trianna: Tamorus. Lord High General Xegolus Teranzik will be by all accounts remembered as a hero.
