YARKON AEGROTIK

Judge Yarkon Aegrotik started his life on May 11th, 17 B.U. As a youth he was a promising pilot of the Gold Dragon clan. However, his vocation in life would be focused on law. Yarkon worked tirelessly, first handling minor arbitration for those living around him, later working in official law offices in Anarinuell. As he grew older and wiser, Yarkon rose to the position of judge in the Gold Dragon clan, and even spent some time as a judiciary official for the Republic. He was well known as both a judge and litigator, steadfast and hard working. He was proud, even tempered, and utterly stubborn. He married twice in his life, first to Nelia with whom he had three children (Pentheus, named after his father; Gregor; and Esra), and he then later married a young Hydra woman, the widowed Sholana (with whom he had Arnot, Artu, Notmi, and Canot).

Yarkon lived under the auspices of a family curse (see news aegrotik family). Yarkon struggled through his life to try and redeem his family by honest and good works. He was killed in April 10, 32 A.U., after he took then-Acting Queen Lucretia hostage in the True Temple and sentenced her to be dragged through the streets for her plans of becoming a Zutivian priestess, a rank reserved for males alone. His reasons for doing this will never be known: some have blamed the water sickness, others blame his familial curse, either forcing the tragedy or in an attempt to gain Zutiv's favor against the curse.
