Overview
Serious in nature, this young man rarely smiles, instead observing the world around him and etching it into his memory for later use. His features are regular, but not unattractive, and his classic lantern jaw is kept smooth. Wisps of his hair have a habit of falling down over his forehead and into his eyes, cuffed away to tuck behind his ear in a habitual gesture.
Generally taciturn, and prone to thinking and brooding over matters, he has very clear cut ideas of right and wrong. He knows that whores and Old City scum are wrong and that nobles are always right, and wants to make sure he's always part of the latter group. Although a commoner, he tries to act in the way he perceives a nobleman would. He debates, he goes to his temple, he reads and writes treatises, and he approves wholeheartedly of noble privilege, a lord honoring a common woman with a modicum of that noble blood, while he detests whores to the point of not even acknowledging their existence.

Family Life
Zellonos was a member of the Rabiashik Family, but in 42 AU Clan Leader Ania dissolved the name. After a brief stint as "Mer Zellonos," he was married into the Karik family to Sentry Karlana Karik, joining the family in full.
Parents
To his shame, Yasmina was a courtesan and a whore. He barely remembers her as she died when he was very small, but he's ashamed of her and her bad influence on his older siblings. She's not a topic of conversation he likes to delve into, bringing about feelings of inadequacy in his own family. (see news yasmina and news teddi)

The oldest of the brothers, Zellonos considers Rabianos to be a bully and not very bright. He ran away to the old city and good riddance to him! When they meet, Rabianos usually manages to rile Zellonos up, trying to pick a fight, or telling everyone lies about what he's done. It horrifies Zellonos that despite his efforts to convince everyone they're not related, Rabianos will undo it all in an instant, while boasting he's a great gangster. How can he ever be a respectable man with that sort of publicity? Rabianos was involved in something about overtly threatening nobles and wound up shipped to the front, but he's back, and up to no good again, undoubtedly.
Poor Kamar, Zellonos is convinced that Rabianos hoodwinked his brother into joining the old city. Kamar's a bright man, but he tends to hang on Rabianos's coat tails, lured into joining his wicked ways. Kamar's always trying to convince Zellonos that he should join them, but that would be Wrong. Maybe Kamar is just starved for somebody intelligent to talk to, though, and as Zellonos bears the man no ill will, he'll sit and chat. And maybe convince Kamar to come back to the walls. Zellonos lived with Rabianos and Kamar for a while in the Old City, but he moved back to the walls, where it's more proper.
Paulina is a whore! Zellonos is appalled to see their mother's bad influence in her choice of vocation and her whole lifestyle. Everything she does seems aimed at shocking him and being improper. Zellonos is torn between disowning her entirely, and trying to bring her back to the straight and narrow. But now it's been years since he's seen her, so it seems he's given up on his whore sister, especially after she got tied up with the child abuse scandal at the Gentleman's Club.
Ternesa sums up, to Zellonos, everything a woman should be. She works hard as a servant to the Iberik family, she's pretty, intelligent, and most importantly, she's proper! He can't help but feel sometimes she plays on it a little to get her way, but it wouldn't be right for him to refuse. After all, he's trying to be a gentleman. But she's gotten herself wrapped up in a unhealthy number of scandals... Burning down the Lion's Gate by mistake, eating foxglove, of all things... She's the Head of House now, and he tries to be respectful of that, but they clash on various matters from time to time. In 42 AU, Ternesa was sentenced by Ania to the White Dove Rising, despite Zellonos' defense of her. Her children are to be given over to his custody after his marriage, unless Ladonna ends up adopting them.
Zellonos took great pains to explain to his youngest sister just how evil and wicked the people of the Old City are, and how nice and wonderful the people in the walls are. Which somewhat fell through when he moved to the Old City, but now he's back and working hard on her again. Or was, until she abruptly married old Solan and became Mes Harror. She became a Chimera, and even a minister, but of course her dramatics ended up badly. Apart from being a seemingly horrid mother, she was convicted of forging a will. Her sentence was carried out -- to be conscripted into the military until she was a hero -- and it seems that at the front, Ladonna redeemed herself enough to be released from the militia. For now, all is quiet.
Marriage
Zellonos' marriage to Karlana was not by choice, and that's not exactly a secret, either. It was an arranged match by the Eagle Ministry of Families, namely deputy minister Lady Kassia Iberik. But after a prolonged courtship period, the Zellonos and Karlana were abruptly wed, and he has been fairly reclusive since.

Scandals
- Moving to the Old City
For reasons not very well known, there was a period of a two years in which Zellonos lived in the Old City with his brothers. He has since moved back in and nothing more has been said on the issue.
- His Family
Most of Zellonos' scandals really stem from his brothers, sisters, and mother. He runs as much damage control as he can.
Zellonos was engaged to be wed to Rayna Dilarik, his younger cousin and Lady's Maid. Being a Bear, she seemed a very proper match for him, taking as much as she does after her mother and Zellonos' aunt, Alyosha Rabiashik. But there were others who disagreed, and before the end, it was a matter dragged to the attentions of the likes of Lord Judanarius Corinala, Dame Priestess Cyrilla Daedalus, Lady Kassia Iberik nee N'Gato, and even Clan Leaders Ania Istaneysani and Fidelia Ista Aldrik. Ania finally settled the matter by assigning Clan Guards to Zellonos and commanding that he not see her any more, lest his reputation be tarnished. Zellonos is still dodgy about finding out exactly what happened.
- Dissolution of the Rabiashik Family
In 42 AU, Ternesa was the acting head of house, but was rather at odds with the Iberik Family, historically the noble patrons of the Rabiashiks. Finally, Ania passed judgment on the matter and had Ternesa sentenced to work at the White Dove Rising. In addition, the Rabiashik family was dissolved, leaving its members without a surname. The future of the former Rabiashiks is uncertain, as Zellonos is the last member living inside the walls.
