In reaction to Draugik's betrayal, Half-Shamibelians and any that sympathized with them were hunted down and killed. Cities across the republic banned them from the walls or gathering in public, or simply found them dead come morning. It was ordered that no half-Shamibelian ever hold high military rank again.
High anti half-shamibelian (or halfie) sentiments run strongly ever since that date.
