Zeysani's War: Zeysani Captured

Zeysani's agents were continually intercepted and executed in Arinzi. The Hydran people rallied behind Draugik as the only one who could end the persecution and oppression. With his military brilliance, he was able to push the Eagles back into the river, taking only a fraction of casualties, and having taken Zeysani prisoner. Ishani escaped and reformed the Eagle ranks, but Zeysani was brought to the city center as a prisoner of war at spearpoint as any who touched her mysteriously died.
The victory was the first in ages for the Hydrans, who bitterly threw their support behind Draugik in their other cities. They, like the Republic before them, tolerated him for his usefulness but disliked him greatly.
Vahlgellan sent word to the Hydrans that he would accept the medallion if presented to him by Rodellos as he would not turn away from the clan in their time of need. He denied any involvement with Pavan.
Draugik, calling himself Steward until Vahlgellan took the Medallion, released demands for Zeysani's return; a withdrawal of all Eagle troops, war reparations, and an heir of the Eagle throne to live with the Hydrans for five years, and a surrender. If met they would release Zeysani and 'allow her to keep her throne' as the wording stated. If they were not agreed to in a timely manner, releasing Zeysani would no longer be an option.
