Zutiv

In the Firan pantheon, Zutiv is the King of the Gods. He is the creator, all-powerful and all-knowing. He is associated with fire, the sun, and all things that are hot or bright. Zutiv punishes those who are dishonest or sneaky. Zutiv is a special friend to those who are afflicted by unrequited love. His weapon is the whip, and one can often see him brandishing it in the sky on stormy nights.

There is an outstanding conflict between Zutiv and his son Firanos. Zutiv is said to have never meant for man to be the dominant species, but Firanos made it so. Consequently, Zutiv is a special friend to strong and fearsome beasts that he thinks more worthy of His blessings. These beasts are: the gold dragon, the griffon, the chimera, the hydra, the bear, the eagle, and the cockatrice. The clans have named themselves after these beasts in the hopes of staying in Zutiv's good favor.

His wife is Soli. Monotheists worship Zutiv as the only or supreme deity.
